Hi Steve,

I really appreciate your two tips. Great reminder to take time to smile. Both good additions to my list. Thanks.
It sure took me a while to respond but as you said it is okay to temporarily forget things which in this case I thought
I had already responded to you since I liked your comment.

Good post. I be taught something tougher on totally different blogs everyday. It will at all times be stimulating to read content material from different writers and apply a little bit something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content material on my blog whether or not you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a hyperlink on your web blog. Thanks for sharing. montre mecanique

I like these tips, Kristina - they are practical and to the point! :-)

2 more tips I can recommend to everyone (including me):

1) Understand that life is an ongoing journey. So it's okay to still have things to learn in life. Just as it's okay to temporarily forget things you thought you already knew. Just keep at it!

2) Sometimes taking the time to smile - for no reason if needs be, if you really can't find a reason to smile, is ALL our day requires of us... :-)

Thanks again, Kristina

Kathryn - I think kids begin losing this wonderful self-loving attitude when they start getting negative
comments like "you are so selfish" or "it's not nice to say that." Then as we get older we have to re-learn
how to strengthen our own voice in order to be able to value who we truly are.

Hi Kristina,

When I was in line at a store, the cashier said to the little girl ahead of me, "Oh, aren't you the cutest thing?!" And the little girl said, "Yes, I am."

And I thought Good For Her. And I wondered when do we lose that secure, self-loving attitude?

Hi Kristina,

On the one hand I would love to live to be 100. On the other hand, I would be sad to see so many loved ones pass before me.

But I believe your advice would help each of us to live a healthy life with much pleasure until the time comes to die.

Thank you for writing.

I found this recommendation of "how" not "why" to be very useful. I am sharing it with my husband too. We can both benefit from this good advice as we relate to our teenage granddaughter who feels that sometimes she cannot "talk" to us about "things". I remember us saying "Why did you do that". I am sure that she felt that we were blaming her.

Thank you.
